Abstract
Choristoma is defined as a tumor-like mass of normal cells or tissue that develops in an abnormal location. Cartilagenous choristomas (chondroma) of oral soft tissue are very rare. We have experienced a case of chondroma of the tongue. Tumor was removed by complete excision. Histopathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of chondroma. After 10
months of follow-up, no evidence of recurrence was noted.
